Despite a challenging start to the weekend in Nashville, Kyle Larson aimed to bounce back after crashing out of the Coca-Cola 600 and Indianapolis 500. Unfortunately, he faced setbacks in practice, only reaching 24th, which carried over to qualifying where he placed 28th in the 39-car grid, his worst of the 2025 season and lowest amongst his Hendrick Motorsports teammates. Larson reflected on the struggles, attributing his issues to difficulty finding rhythm and confidence on the track. Despite the qualifying setback, Larson remained optimistic about his car’s potential and emphasized the need for controlled aggression during the race. With previous examples of drivers winning from mid-pack positions at Nashville, Larson remained hopeful for a successful, hard-fought outcome on race day.
